Strike Melbourne Central Official Launch 2012

Strike Melbourne Central Official Launch

Greta Donaldson Publicity worked with Strike Bowling Bar to officially launch its Melbourne Central venue in May 2012. As the first Victorian Strike venue equipped with a state-of-the-art laser skirmish arena, the launch was themed around this exclusive offering and models were circulating throughout the crowd dressed in urban warfare attire to add to the overall experience for guests. Over 300 people attended the launch, including Ryan Corr, Dena Kaplan, Craig Braybrook and Carlton footballers Dennis Armfield, Rhys O’Keeffe and Jordan Russell. Guests engaged in heated games of bowling and laser skirmish, all while enjoying gourmet food, drinks and entertainment from a mix of talented DJs and neon pain artists. Greta Donaldson Publicity assisted with the event planning and management in the lead up to the evening as well as on the night, and played a vital role in securing extensive media coverage of the event.

Ballarat Beer Festival

The 2012 Ballarat Beer Festival

Greta Donaldson Publicity worked with the Directors of the 2012 Ballarat Beer Festival and achieved results that far exceeded everyone's expectations. More than 4,500 people attended the inaugural Ballarat Beer Festival – a celebration of the very best beer and food this country has to offer held on Saturday, January 21, as Ballarat's City Oval was transformed into a family-friendly celebration of great beer, good food and carefree summer entertainment. More than 20 brewers including local favourite Red Duck Brewery as well as James Squire, Prickly Moses, Mountain Goat and Matilda Bay Brewery, were involved. Home brewing expert and comedian Charlie Pickering (TV's The Project and Talkin' 'Bout Your Generation) hosted the event, Australia's own Beer Diva, Kirrily Waldhorn, gave tips throughout the day and indie sweetheart Clare Bowditch, singer-songwriter Jordie Lane and Victorian rock band Stonefield performed on the main stage. Greta Donaldson Publicity played a vital role in securing long and short lead media coverage across radio, print, television and online in the lead up to the day as well as implementing the festival media launch and managing media on the day.

Broo Premium Australian Lager

Greta Donaldson Publicity worked with Kent Grogan to launch Broo Premium Australian Lager nationally in 2011. Broo is 100% Australian owned. Broo Premium Lager has no artificial anything, is made from all natural ingredients. It comes in at 4.6% alcohol, and out of a 330ml brown stubby. The official count is 1.2 standard drinks per stubby, which makes the Broo a perfect session beer, or just cheeky enough for a few quick singles. Broo comes in the hero 330ml stubby, also small herds called clusters (your classic 6 pack), and in big mobs (24 in a case). Right now there’s only the one Broo, lucky for you it’s the best Broo in Australia. Broo isn’t a special occasion beer, you’re allowed to drink it anytime you want and anywhere. It’s not infused with salmon, lemon or peanuts, and you don’t even have to stick fruit in it. You can eat whatever you bloody well like with it, but by all accounts the beer tastes just right on its own. We treat our beer like beer, it’s what beer was before all the tossers tried to treat it like wine. Get onto the Broo. Stay on the Broo.

WTC wharf

WTC Wharf, Asset 1

Greta Donaldson Publicity played a significant role in the launch and promotion of this $100 million development, which will transform the northern banks of Melbourne’s Yarra River into a commercial, cultural and community hub. Unveiled in December 2008, the WTC WHARF development will open on the spot where Melbourne’s founding father John Batman stood 173 years ago and declared: “This will be the place for a village”. Part of the World Trade Centre complex, WTC WHARF will offer the CBD’s only true waterfront dining experience, with cafes, bars and restaurants on the edge of the Yarra.
